As we embark on a new year, it's a time to reflect on the past and set our sights on the future. While some people engage in traditional rituals like blowing cinnamon through doorways or burning bay leaves inscribed with manifestations, the most important thing is to set goals that inspire and motivate you.
My Art Goals for 2025
This year, I have four major goals for my art practice:
Release My New Figurative Work
Last year, I faced a creative block. Every time I tried to paint, I struggled to get started. Remembering the advice I give my students, I decided to "get back to basics" and take a class. Coincidentally, I received an email from another artist about a last-minute opening in their life drawing sessions. This experience inspired a new series of monochromatic figurative paintings. My focus is on simplicity, quality, and beauty, capturing the elegance of the female form using the finest watercolor supplies. Celebrate Pittsburgh Women Artists at Raw Form
Raw Form is an upcoming exhibition showcasing my work alongside the work of my friend and fellow artist Samantha Cortese, and several other talented women artists from the Pittsburgh area. The opening reception will be held on March 22nd at Atithi Studios. The month-long exhibition will also feature a variety of other exciting events.
Find a Unique Venue for an Exhibition
